Love affair

[rev_slider Histoire]

Born in 1916 at the border of Italy, Pascalounet was still young when confronted with the death of his parents. He soon learned to stand on his own feet and that resulted in his first business in wine and liquor. He also helped commercialising the famous ‘Pharo Pastis’ in Marseille and its surroundings. It was the bay between La Saulce and Ste Croix where he fell in love with this little piece of paradise and in 1958 the campsite ‘Pascalounet’ was born..

After the death of Pascalounet and his wife Lily in the late nineties, their children Robert and Christiane decided to continue the business. In 2004, just before the big changes in tourism, Robert redesigned and renewed the campsite (water, electricity, pitches, toilet facilities and the introduction of bungalows and mobile homes). The mobile homes attracted a new kind of clientele who wanted to enjoy nature in a more comfortable way.

In 2012, Olivier and Benjamin, grandchildren of Pascalounet, decided to join the family tradition to manage the campsite. After years of hard work and lots of changes, the campsite welcomes you to enjoy paradise as Pascalounet once saw it.

Since 1958, our goals have stayed the same; to spend an unforgettable time in a family atmosphere, a natural environment, close to the Mediterranean sea and the city of Marseille.

Story of generations...

The first campsite at the Côte Bleue opened its doors. The pitches were not marked and the campsite was not yet enclosed. Lots of families spend their three weeks of summer holidays at this magnificent site.
Due to severe health problems, Pascalounet and Lily decided to take a step back and to let the campsite be managed by others. During this period lots of residents found their way to the campsite.
After the death of Pascalounet and his wife Lily, a new period of camping at Pascalounet started. The campsite underwent some big changes, thanks to Robert, and offers pitches and mobilhomes to a clientele from all over Europe.
With the help of Guy and Beatrice, Robert created a family atmosphere which is still there.
The grandchildren of Pascalounet continue the adventure and attract an even larger clientele from all over Europe and try to improve all services and facilities.
